Headlining the Brighton Unsigned second birthday shindig are The Watermelons, a spritely, upbeat, hook laden pop band. Sounds juicy right?
These guys have been on the circuit for a while and have popped up on some top line-ups and festivals, supporting Tribes and even getting a thumbs up from Alex James along the way. Their infectious brand of indie pop is instantly addictive, getting into your brain and not leaving until you poke your ears out with a pencil.
Catch them along with support from the equally catchy but extra funky Half Crown, at The Hope for a night of memorable melodies and sing-a-long choruses. Guy Lloyd from Brighton’s 107.6 Juice FM will be compering the night, so come celebrate this excellent publication and what it is doing for new bands in Brighton.
6:30pm, October 5, The Hope, £5
