Having already sold out two headline shows this year, Brighton welcomes back Run Young Lovers for another dose of energetic and charismatic indie pop-rock at Coalition this October. With a live show consisting of full blown enthusiasm with little pretence, the Crawley 5 piece will transport you to a nostalgic dream of summer just gone by. Their infectious choruses and catchy pop riffs have already caught the attention of BBC Introducing, and with a fruitful set this year at Brighton’s own pioneering new music festival, The Great Escape, this is just the start of greater things to come.
Since 2011, Run Young Lovers’ avid followers have seen them support Indie champions The Pigeon Detectives, The Sunshine Underground and Little Comets. Their dynamic sound is reminiscent of some of this summer’s festival favourites such as The 1975, meaning they’ll more than likely be filling some of the smaller stages at the bigger festivals next year.
With the recent release of their new single “Where We Start”, the gig will provide a celebration of achievements and new horizons for the band, and with Coalition putting on their Blow after-party, you’re sure to get your £5 worth of vibrant new music.
