House of Disco Pride event for new city pub run by Brighton charity

We’re excited to be holding our first Pride party with a special menu, cocktails and all-day disco open to all and all proceeds to go towards our charity Team Domenica.

The North Star pub is our flagship venue run by charity Team Domenica, which equips young people with learning disabilities and autism with the skills they need to gain meaningful employment. All proceeds from the pub support the work of the charity.

Just yards from the Pride parade route, The North Star is an easy step away for participants and spectators to enjoy a break or relax after the main event. Enjoy our delicious Pride menu, including takeaway burgers and wraps, while helping to support Team Domenica’s work.

Soak up the Pride atmosphere throughout the day on the pub’s outdoor terrace, with entertainment hosted by House of Disco. DJs Nick T and NJ Strange will provide a soundtrack of disco classics, house, nu-disco and funk from 1pm to 9pm.

We’ve also created three unique Pride cocktails for the event. Named after LGBTQi+ activists, they are The Sophie, who was a groundbreaking Scottish music producer, singer, and transgender icon, The Lady Phyll, a British political activist known for her work for racial, gender and LGBTQi+ equality and The PTR after Patrick Trevor-Roper, a surgeon, gay activist and one of the founders of the Terence Higgins Trust.
