Europe’s premiere new music festival has spilled the first set of acts signed on for this spring.
Set in mid-May, from Thursday 16 – Saturday 18, the festival will be back in Brighton for its eighth year of taking over the town.
Top picks thus far include the return of the ascendant Bastille, electro artists AlunaGeorge and the artist ranking as many a critic’s choice Tom Odell. Lesser known acts to sink into your ears include Title Fight, King Krule, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
Other newly confirmed performers include David Rodigan, Eddi Front, Scrufizzer and Chvrches.
The complete confirmed line up to date can be found at the bottom of this post.
And despite that being just the tip of the musical iceberg, there’s more to the festival than auditory pleasures.
With a history encompassing artists from over 30 countries, this year Tres B and Brodka will be presiding over a standalone showcase entitled ‘Don’t Panic! We’re From Poland’.
There are also any number of networking meetings, debates, lectures, interviews and so on, with some of last year’s notables being Rob da Bank and Michael Eavis in conversation, Placebo’s frontman Brian Molko and XFM DJ John Kennedy.
Be sure to keep your eye on EscapeGreat.com for Early Bird tickets, as the Super EBs have already sold out.
