2009 has been an exciting year for Polar Bear Club with the release of their Bridge Nine Records debut Chasing Hamburg. This album saw a #14 debut on the New Artist Chart and was hailed as “instantly infectious” by Alternative Press Magazine. The band pounded the pavement all year long, out on the road with the likes of The Gaslight Anthem, Thrice, Four Year Strong, and label mates Strike Anywhere, Crime In Stereo, and Ruiner.
For the first time since the release of Chasing Hamburg, Polar Bear Club is bringing their phenomenal live show to fans throughout Europe on the Rock Sound Tour. With support from Shook Ones and Title Fight, the guys of Polar Bear Club started the tour in Manchester last month, but unfortunately a south coast date wasn’t included so your chance to see Polar Bear Club is tonight, Friday 5 March, at London’s Underworld.
