Sheffield darlings, Artic Monkeys have just announced details of the exclusive 10-inch vinyl release of their forthcoming single ‘Cornerstone’ through charity shop Oxfam.
The single will be available in the top 50 of the charity shop’s music stores from November 16, and each one will come with a code to allow fans to download the MP3 of the track. ‘Cornerstone’ is the second single from their number one album ‘Humbug’, and will feature new track ‘Catapult’ as well as exclusive b-sides ‘Sketchead’ and ‘Fright Lined Dining Room’. In addition, the band have announced that “golden tickets” for their upcoming UK tour have been hidden in copies of the single.
The move follows the Arctic Monkeys release of last single ‘Crying Lighting’, the seven-inch vinyl version of which they also made available exclusively in Oxfam.
