Often compared to Bon Iver, the US indie-rockers came together in 2015 shortly after the breakup of member Max Kakacek and Julien Ehrlich’s band Smith Westerns in late 2014. Signed to Secretly Canadian, the Chicago act cite Levon Helm and Allen Toussaint as inspirations and produce music with elements of folk, country and good old fashioned Chicago soul. Also playing on the night; Julia Jacklin.
