Ever yearn to feel sort of unnerved and occasionally downright scared at a gig? Ever crave the feeling that you’re about to be jump-scared? Ever wanted to watch a man play a dustpan? No? Okay, so this is a weird one. But as strange as it sounds, it’s hard not to get caught up in the psychedelia of the group, who create unrecognisable sounds from ‘unstruments’ they’ve made themselves. Hailing from Australia, the sextuplet are named after a weird, wonderful and unique needle-like structure that pierces the Brisbane skyline.
With a clunky, dissonant and haunting sound, the group certainly bring something new to the table and refuse to be categorised. Perfect for daydreamers and inhabitants searching for something a little out of the ordinary.
