A few months after the release of their latest album, ‘Birthmarks’, quirky Canadian four-piece Born Ruffians are gracing our streets. The band have created a meaty career, playing alongside talent such as Franz Ferninand, Caribou and Hot Chip. You may recall their stint on stage in Skins with their catchy single, ‘Hummingbird’, which they’re bringing to Brighton. Not unlike a lovechild of Vampire Weekend and Fleet Foxes, the group layer sweet catchy melodies with twang-tastic guitar hooks, creating an uplifting timbre sure to put a smile on your face and a spring in your step.
