Efterklang bring mind-halting ethereal pop to your ears. A vast, open vista of sound is grown inside of your head as you listen to the ephemeral mix of instruments and inflection from the gentle, almost haunting vocals.
Originally released solely on vinyl, way back in 2006, the spacey Scandinavians three-track is being re-issued for iTunes via The Leaf Label. The songs, including a collaboration with the acclaimed Danish singer Martin Hall, will be up for download on Jan 21.
If you can’t wait until then, the tracks are available as a set, or individually, at the Leaf Label store now, and if you’re wanting something more physical though, the vinyl imprint is still available via Burnt Toast.
Efterklang’s fourth album Piramida, released in September 2012, is available for purchase on LP, CD and through iTunes.
