The Duke of York’s Picturehouse is the UK’s oldest operating cinema, part of the Picturehouse family of cinemas. A Grade II listed building, it’s the best cinema in Brighton, showing the greatest films from all over the world.
There’s food & drink on offer too, including fine wines, beers and spirits – plus fair trade tea and coffee — choose from a range of different refreshments from the downstairs kiosk or the first-floor bar. You can also grab popcorn or other snacks and treats, (like artisan cakes from Brighton’s Real Patisserie!). You can even surf the net with free Wi-Fi), or sunbathe on the terrace!
