What does adventure really lead to?

Not just the places we go – but how we think, the decisions we make, and who we become when things don’t go to plan.

This event brings together four experienced adventurers to share real stories from the edge of comfort; from rowing the Atlantic Ocean and skiing to the South Pole, to leading expeditions across continents and navigating high-pressure environments.

But this isn’t about the highlight reel.

It’s about the moments where something shifted, when plans changed, pressure built, and decisions had to be made without a clear answer.

Each speaker brings one story and one key takeaway. Not a catalogue of achievements, but a real moment that shaped how they now think, lead, and perform under pressure.

Across the evening, themes include:
* Decision-making under pressure
* Clarity in uncertain situations
* Handling self-doubt and setbacks
* Team dynamics when it matters most
* Resilience, adaptability, and mental strength

Following the talks, the speakers will join a moderated panel discussion hosted by Lyndsey Clay (Connected Brighton), with audience Q AND A and time to connect afterwards.

This is an evening for anyone interested in how people really respond when things don’t go to plan, whether in business, leadership, sport, or everyday life.
