Saturday 24th October 2009 brings Brighton’s second annual White Night – the all night cultural festival!
This year’s theme is fortune and chance, so in the city’s historical streets and squares, churches, theatres, clubs, and galleries, will lie a series of real and virtual trails and installations. Most of the events are free of charge, and some run until dawn, so take advantage of the extra night hour and celebrate the end of British Summer Time. The evening promises to be magical so “do something different in the middle of the night”.
Highlights include:
Warp Films ‘All Tomorrow’s Parties’ screening – Duke of Yorks
Dawn Chorus with Juliet Russell – Fortune of War
Supper Club Special: ‘Fortunes of White Night’ – The Basement
Dark Horses (Kasabian’s support act) – Jubilee Library
