Just 2 weeks before the UK’s answer to SXSW takes over Brighton, the organisers of The Great Escape have announced that 1, 2 and 3-day festival tickets have now sold out, with around 16,000+ music fans expected in Brighton, May 16th-18th.
With 350 of the hottest new acts spread across over 30+ different venues, the eighth annual festival is set to be the best yet!
Line-up highlights include UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA, KLAXONS, KING KRULE, CHVRCHES, DAVID ‘RAM JAM’ RODIGAN MBE, PARQUET COURTS, THE STRYPES, IGGY AZALEA, THE EIGHTIES MATCHBOX B-LINE DISASTER, TRIBES, DEAP VALLY, MELODY’S ECHO CHAMBER, MIKILL PANE, GIRLS NAMES and JAGWAR MA to name a few.
A final 100 artists have been added to a line-up bursting with the best in new music for Europe’s biggest new music festival and convention, with Billy Bragg, Bastille and Everything Everything headlining, (full line-up at the official festival website and in the festival gig-planner inside XYZ Magazine this month) so get ready for a weekend whirlwind of gigs, parties and clubs! The International partner for this year is Poland, and the New Zealand and France matinee showcases are back, along with the Red Bull Music Academy which will hit the stage at the festival for the first time this year!
