Playgroup returns to the three floors of Komedia on March 26 to celebrate the launch of their first ever summer festival, and it’s all aboard Playgroup Flight 0001! As always, expect amazing live bands, DJs, stilt-walkers, walkabout performers, dry ice machines, confetti cannons, an indoor market, live fire show, face painting and bespoke décor!
Line-up includes, breaks and ska legends, The Dub Pistols, 24-piece swing and jive from The Sussex Big Band, 14-piece Zimbabwean roots reggae from Nhasitafari, a triumphant return from The Correspondents, electronic wizardry in the form of Fidgital, Radio 1 beatbox machine Petebox, world exclusive sea shanties from Piratechno, twisted folk from The Moulettes, more swing from Fat 45, and live drum and bass performed on a bike from Puncture Kit!
Fancy dress is optional, but valued. Think: Air hostess, tribes, world leaders, anything in National Lampoons European Vacation, and ancient civilisations!
