Everyone’s favourite Australian pop band, Operator Please, have confirmed May 31 as the date of release for second album Gloves. The five-piece burst onto the scene in 2007 – aged only 16 at the time – with catchy debut album Yes Yes Vindictive, and they return all grown up with a remarkably sophisticated sophomore album. The band have spent the past year working near Byron Bay and the Gold Coast in Australia, before mixing it in L.A with No Doubt collaborator Jimmy Harry.
First single ‘Logic’ was released earlier this month, with second single ‘Back And Forth’ due May 24.
Gloves is available for fans to pre-order now via the bands website with exclusive goodies, including a limited edition cassette of bonus tracks.
