One Hundred & Forty Characters @ Space@Create

The internationally active photo-portrait artist Chris Floyd is the subject of the new exhibition running at Space@Create.
Based off of the realisation that Floyd’s only communication with his friends for over a month stemmed from social media, the project takes its name from the character limit of a Tweet, and is an oblique reference to the 140 people – who he follows on Twitter – that are the subject of each portrait.
He has previously worked alongside Lily Allen, Michael McIntyre, and Agent Provocateur  amongst others, and his images of Oasis and Supergrass, as well as cinematic hard-man Oliver Reed, currently form part of the National Portrait Gallery’s collection.
The exhibition runs from Thursday February 7 to Sunday February 24, and there is even the opportunity to book shooting sessions with Chris during the final weekend, through the Create website.
