Mumford & Sons and Laura Marling are pleased to announce their collaboration with a collective of Indian musicians – Dharohar Project – to create a brand new EP of recordings that are available now on iTunes.
The British artists successfully toured India back in December 2009 and spent many days with the Rajasthani folk musicians in a makeshift studio at an arts and culture school in Delhi which is where they made their new EP. The EP comprises of four songs, including collaborative re-workings of Mumford & Sons’ song “To Darkness” and Laura Marling’s “Devil’s Spoke.” The other tracks on the EP are called “Anmol Rishtey” and “Mehendi Rachi.”
