Melting Vinyl present a Kemp Town-based French Festival, which will be hosted in favourite spaces around the area, featuring French-based live music, film, food and art.
Expect live music from some of the most interesting new French acts around, like French chanson with a contemporary twist Laura Cahen; artist and producer Rémi Parson who creates dreamy, drum machine-based synth-pop; Arlt a duo who make ambiguous love songs dotted with radiant melodies and poetic dissonances; more to be announced.
Bom Banes is a special space, combining some of the best entertainment and food in the area, all in a terraced house. Arlt will be playing their set here after some delicious French food has been served, brought together between courses with songs from Les Cygnes d’Argent.
Wheat & Beans is a wonderful cafe on St. James’s street which never stops buzzing with cafe culture and amazing food. Make sure to pop by this venue for more live performances from our acts above.
The Verdict is a well-known down-to-earth jazz hangout where they will be hosting and finishing off the festival with experimental film and performances from 12am deep into the night.
More events and details throughout the night are to be announced very soon!
