This spring, Mark Lanegan is returning to Europe to tour solo material for the first time since promoting his last acclaimed solo record, Bubblegum, in 2004.
Being joined by multi-instrumentalist Dave Rosser, these shows will see them acoustically perform tracks from Mark’s extensive catalogue.
Lanegan began his music career in the 1980s, forming the group Screaming Trees which eventually disbanded in 2000, and saw him become a permanent member of Queens Of The Stone Age.
He continued to collaborate with other artists such as Martina Topley Bird and Melissa Auf der Maur, and when he left Queens five years later, Lanegan worked with former Belle And Sebastian singer/cellist Isobel Campbell and The Gutter Twins which released their debut album last year.
Unfortunately no Brighton date has been announced on this tour, but you can catch him at the Garage in London on 4 May.
