To celebrate their first birthday at Komedia on March 20, be prepared for the most exquisitely decadent theme yet: Baz Luhrmann! All the best bits from Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet and Strictly Ballroom will be up on the big screen, spliced up in dazzling style with spectacular live Baz themed cabaret, aerial and circus sideshow acts from Miss Kitty Peels (pictured), The Ooh La Las, Strictly Dumb Prancing, The Flirtinis and the infamous Trailer Trash Troupe, all hosted in great shoes and high glamour by the lovely Rosy Carrick, with plenty of rock ‘n’ roll, neo-swing, trashy punk, glitzy covers, soundtracks and classic hits from resident DJs Dave Grinnel and Peter Von Sleaze.
