His impressive skills as a DJ and a finely tuned ear see Peterson hosting his very own show every Saturday on BBC Radio 6 Music. Distinguishable for his love of Latino and African beats and skill at translating them for a clubbing environment, he samples music from different cultures around the world, a true musical taste-maker.
Arguably his most popular project to date, ‘Havana Cultura’ celebrates the best of Havana’s musical talent, whilst bringing it to an international audience. In the same league as John Peel, Peterson has been widely respected for many years for widening the ears of music lovers to a colourful variety of new music on offer from the worldwide stage.
