Congratulations Brighton Electric! The recording studio just off Lewes Road was recently announced as one of five finalists for Music Week’s prestigious Studio Of The Year Award. As the only studio outside of London to be short listed, Brighton Electric faced stellar competition and eventually lost out to heritage rich Abbey Road Studios, who were announced the winner during the awards ceremony held in London on April 15.
The highly coveted Music Week Awards are judged by a panel of influential industry experts and presented to the very best within the music industry.
Brighton Electric may be the new kids on the block, but with a client list including The Cure, Architects (pictured), Blood Red Shoes, British Sea Power, The GO! Team, Maccabees, Laura Marling and The Noisettes (who are currently writing their third album), it’s certainly a legacy in the making.
