Beach Down Festival, Devils Dyke, Brighton, 28-31st August 2009
Beachdown is proud to have Grace Jones headlining this year as well as an array of top international artists. Public Enemy now join the increasing roster of bands, artists and Dj¹s some of which include: Laurent Garnier Live,Youth, The Beach Boys Own (Terry Farley and Clive Henry) Norman Jay, Soft Rocks and Greg Wilson, Breakin¹ Bread, DJ¹s Ed Solo and JFB, Hospitality Records, Prince Buster and the Delroy Wilson band and more to be confirmed soon.
Brighton club nights appearing this year include: Stick It On, Spell Bound, Dub Pressure, Kliks, Supercharged, Blah Blah Blah, Go Bang! and Play Group. There are also 50 local new and unsigned bands performing on the Brighton band stage over the 4 day extravaganza.
For your flavour busting eating requirements we have The UK Fiery Food Chilli Festival, Love Fit Café, La Vache organic steak, Indian Summer, Maughermans Deli and over 30 stalls with organic and locally sourced top cuisine. Last but not least remember we¹ve got the Duke of York¹s Cinema for your film delights, an amazing new childrens area called Kids Down and a great selection of comedy and cabaret acts all to be announced.
