Just about the best thing to come out of Glasgow since United Fruit. They straddle the line between the Brian Jones Town Massacre and the catchy trash talk of The Hives. A brilliantly lean concoction with echoes of American garage rock, their sound nevertheless remains quintessentially British. These guys are gonna have a great year! Support comes from Southampton grunge-sludge duo Dolomite Minor, whose reputation for psyche-rock excess precedes them. Bring earplugs!
