Sheffield indie superheroes Arctic Monkeys have announced that the lead single from their new album will be released through Oxfam on 17 August. The “Crying Lightning” 7-inch will cost £2.99 and is the first single to be stocked by the charity since Band Aid in 1984. It will be available in all the charity’s 700 high street stores with proceeds going to the help the charity’s ongoing fight against world poverty.
