Brooklyn’s Sleigh Bells haven’t so much released a debut album in “Treats” as unleashed an absolute stomper of a record that confuses as much as it absolutely enthrals. From the abrasive, electro-flavoured hip-hop attack of “Riot Rhythm” and “Infinity Guitars” through to the blissed-out, Bat For Lashes-influenced “Rill Rill”, Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller constantly leave us dying to know what exciting things the next track will deliver. Superbly intriguing stuff!
