The mighty mighty Chickenhawk are playing at Soho’s St Moritz Club next Friday! The quartet formed in Leeds back in 2004, and since self-released their demo to critical acclaim. 2010 already has proved a busy year from them – with a hugely successful tour with The Computers and Outcry Collective under their belts, and a visit to Maida Vale Studios to record an interview and live session for the Radio 1 Mike Davies Punk Show – and are lined up to play many festivals this summer including Gaymers Camden Crawl and The Great Escape in Brighton.
Chickenhawk have been described as “an awesome force, every last millisecond of their songs is completely submerged in rock, giving them an intensity and forcefulness that’s a rare find in modern music.”
