The Warren is the hub of all things Fringe! Located on the grounds of St Peter’s Church, this ‘festival-within-a-festival’ is a bustling site playing host to thriving bars, theatre spaces, dedicated family areas, pop-up shops, delicious street food and over 700 brilliant performances throughout May and into June.
A comedy highlight comes from critically acclaimed comedy actress Alice Marshall with her brand new show ‘Blood’ – the follow up to her 2016 smash hit debut ‘Vicious’. Expect a hard look at the darker side of humanity with weird and wonderful characters. (8pm, 19th – 21st , Theatre Box)
If you are looking for something out of the ordinary then be sure to check out All In – an interactive comedy show. From the makers of award-winning comedy ‘Beard’, this is guaranteed to be like nothing you’ve seen before. (6pm 23rd-26th, Main House)
One for the kids – Woodland Tribe is the perfect activity for children (and adults!) of all ages. Use hammers, nails, saws, rope, wood and lots of teamwork to build the ultimate play space. Evening sessions include a free drink in the ticket price too. A dynamic and educational mix of designing, building and most importantly – fun! (Running every weekend throughout the festival at various times)
The Warren opens it’s gates on the 4th of May and will kick things off with a celebratory firework display, make sure you head down to kick off this fantastic event in style.
