In a music industry that seems to have a love affair with weak backing tracks and dull harmonised vocals, thank God for bands like Pulled Apart By Horses. Totally unpretentious and not aimed at pleasing to anyone in particular, PABH make heavy guitar led music with frantic – often screamed – vocals. With a reputation for raucous live shows the four lads from Leeds are reminiscent of At The Drive-In crossed with Deftones in their rawer days. A perfect antidote to the abundance of fairy-pop around at the moment.
