Axis Of come to the shores of Brighton from Northern Ireland with their quirky blend of punk inspired rock; we’re talking big riffs here, bucket loads of passion, and more sing (or shout) along opportunities than a football match. With an instantly recognisable sound, and their highly successful debut full-length “Finding St Kilda” released earlier this year, Axis Of have stylishly introduced themselves to an unsuspecting world and can only cause more damage from here. Support comes from local rough and ready punk trio Broker, the epic post-rock inspired Wild Cat Strike, and atmospheric alt-rockers Poles Apart. This isn’t your ordinary gig though; combining the worlds of art and music, local artists Beardless + Matt Pratt + Wooly Ink + Moscow, Let’s Go! will be presenting their fine work at a pop-up illustration shop. It’s a unique idea and the kind of thing that we don’t see enough of, so come and discover something new, whether it be for your music collection or your bedroom wall.
