Hometown boys The Wytches are headlining a killer show for Boon magazine at the Green Door Store. A perfect venue for the dark, reverb drenched, claustrophobic sound of arguably the best up-and-coming band in Brighton.
If you like The Horrors hairdos, TOY’s ‘don’t give a damn’ vocals, and the idea of joining Ennio Morricone on a surf trip. Then you’re in for a treat. Their frenetic live energy is refreshing, and they’ve developed a strong sound for a band less than two years old. Currently touring all over England and Europe, and playing Reading and Leeds Festival this year. The future is looking bright for this dark and moody band (don’t expect them to speak between songs; their set is basically one long medley).
Also keep an eye out for the Innerstrings Psychedelic Lightshow which will be providing the visuals for the evening.
7:30pm, August 8, The Green Door Store. Tickets: £5 Advance + Booking Fee.
