Uniting the docile yet eerily downbeat vocals of Channy Leaneagh with an electro backdrop, radio-darlings Polica are back to make their mark on the minds of Brighton gig-goers. Founded in 2011, with their gentile and distinctive hooks, the band are quickly working their way up the synth-pop food chain with their unique calling-card of two drummers (Drew Christopherson and Ben Ivascu). Whilst you might think that two drum kits would create an aggressive and overtly frantic beat, Polica manage to maintain their distinctly serene rhythm, and protect the hazily resonant vocals of Leaneagh.
