The man behind one of the UK’s finest guitar bands (ever!) returns with his brand new album “Matador” (out now). The second solo venture since the demise of Supergrass, it promises a departure from his Britpop roots. If lead single “Buffalo” is any indication, expect off-kilter cinematic song-writing with electronic production flourishes, all tied together with that unmistakable voice. You really shouldn’t need much encouragement.
