Vaguely reminiscent of The X-Files Lone trio of coutnerculture patriots, The Lone Gunmen, albeit better dressed, Dinosaur Jr bring their alternative chops to Concorde 2 for their quasi-punk, their semi-rock, their margarine of pop sound. They’re the Diet Coke of alt rock – you’ve heard they can do strange and mystical things like fuel juggernauts and dissolve the teeth in your head, and their feedback heavy, distortion favouring sound will certainly get you fizzing like a shaken cola.
