Occurring in over 20 venues throughout Brighton, this free festival acts as the premier showcase for local talent, however, with many other events, seminars and workshops also happening, there’s more to it than just live-music. With its totally free policy, Brighton Live is perhaps the best way to beat the credit crunch this year. Countless local groups will take to the stage, all vying for your attention in what will no doubt be a jam-packed few days.
Ones to watch include Stars and Sons, The Wellingtons, Telegraphs, The Morning Orchestra, PRJCT MYHM, The Half Sisters (pictured) and Yokoko.
