An interesting fusion of world music and rock, Beirut have always been in a genre all of their own.
This show sees them on tour in support of their new album “Gallipoli” – written in southern Italy it was inspired by, amongst other things, a priest-fronted brass band procession through a medieval town.
It’s this unique take, and infusion of music that earns Beirut such a respected name and loyal following.
