With debut LP “Cut and Paste” (Wichita Recordings) following a run of well received singles, Oscar hits the stage at Patterns tonight with his beautiful baritone vocal and a keen ear for a melody. This is a guy who was surrounded by music from the start of his life; his parents fronted pop band The Regents and his dad went on to produce some of the earlier Acid House records.
His resultant sound is an eclectic mix of the influences of his life growing up in London, check out the crunching guitars & infectious synth of album opener “Sometimes”, the bashment rhythm of “Be Good”, and the dub bassline of uplifting anthem “Good Things” – and see him play live tonight at Patterns!
Hailed as new musical prodigy, this is a don’t-miss show tonight!
