Decidedly lo-fi, the static laden intro of the 11 minute ‘Voodoo …’ gives way to a gentle lollop that moulds the static into a driving hook. As the drums and echo laden guitars filter in, the sound grows more ethereal and certainly doesn’t feel 11 minutes long. The lo-fi sound is carried throughout all 3 tracks with an ever-present hiss, adding an atmosphere that cleverly turns the industrial sound into something soft and easy to listen to.
