Established in 1866, The Argyle Arms is a proper, laid back, backstreet boozer.
This traditional Brighton pub has seen a full refurbishment, carefully enhancing the original features – it’s now family friendly with a lovely local following.
Choose from craft taps, cask ales & cocktails – there’s something for everyone!
With rooms, and a small garden area with lots of plants to give it a breath of fresh air.
The rooms have been renovated to ensure a cosy stay for guests, and an optional breakfast is served in the pub.
The pub has quirks like vintage Brighton photographs and artwork throughout, bare brick chimney breasts with open fireplaces, used throughout the colder months.
Although the owners’ background is catering, they wanted The Argyle to remain a pub rather than a restaurant, they wanted to create an environment where we can all feel comfortable to come in for a drink without having to order food.
They organise lots of events all throughout the year – keep an eye on their website and social media platforms for any updates.
