About:
Situated in an old fisherman’s cottage in the heart of the Brighton South Lanes, just around the corner from the seafront. Northern Lights offers a selection of Scandinavian dishes from open sandwiches to sauteed reindeer.
You are also welcome to pop in just for a drink, with over two dozen flavoured vodkas to choose from along with other Nordic favourites like Akvavit and Gin Long Drink and special shots you won’t find anywhere else in Brighton!

The coffees are freshly ground, organic and fairtrade and you can enjoy them with a piece of freshly baked homemade cake.
Northern Lights is also available for private hire for weddings, ideally situated next to Brighton Town Hall.
They can arrange full 3-course meals or if preferred, less formal gathering for drinks.
If you have a special event they can easily be flexible about opening earlier at no extra cost.

Opening hours
They open the doors at midday on Saturdays and Sundays, weekdays Monday to Thursday at 5pm, Fridays 3pm. Closing time is at midnight during the week, 2am on weekends.
