Returning to Brighton Dome for three nights, Acaster brings the sideways logic, precise silliness and beautifully strange storytelling that have made him one of the UK’s most distinctive stand-ups. Expect a show packed with left turns, sharp writing and the kind of punchlines that sneak up wearing a little hat.
There is not much being given away about the material, which feels about right. Half the fun with Acaster is letting him guide the room somewhere deeply unexpected, then realising the whole detour was somehow perfectly planned.
