Want to impress and delight your friends and family with vibrant central and south American food?

Event: May 5th.

Join this class with chef Diego Ricaurte and learn to create a range of classic street food dishes from Colombia, Mexico and Ecuador. You’ll be guided to choose quality meat for your dishes, and learn about the mix of indigenous and Spanish flavours that influence Latin American cuisine.

The menu typically features dishes such as Arepa de chicharron (corn patties served with crispy pork), Pozole Rojo (Mexican spicy pork and corn soup) with wild nettle, and sides like black beans, sweet plantain and wild garlic sauce.

During the class you’ll use a robustly flavoured pork shoulder from the traditional rare-breed Middle White, from Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire, in keeping with Diego’s quality-over-quantity ethic.

All dishes are gluten-free and designed to be made quickly at home for fun, healthy family meals.

Tickets include tuition, all ingredients and equipment, hot drinks throughout and a full meal to eat at the end of the session. Bring your own drinks to enjoy with your meal or if you prefer you can have it to go
