Due to the country’s close proximity to the Arctic Circle and the fact that it takes place during the summer solstice – the sun doesn’t set for a full 72 hours.
With the endless daylight there’s an extensive lineup consisting of 150 local and international artists, headlined by Foo Fighters and The Prodigy. Now in it’s fourth year, outside of the mainstage there are a series of side events including Into the Glacier, Inside the Volcano – which in 2016 was the first concert held inside a dormant volcano, Secret Lagoon Party, a rave in a natural hot spring, the Midnight Sun Boat Party and the Horizon Party.
