Come get your feminist craft on + discover more about local politics at our Sister Society Spring Fete with The Women’s Equality Party.
What to expect:
Tea & cake!
Keep yourself fed and watered with pay-as-you-feel homemade cakes including vegan and gluten-free options.
Feminist craft tables
From rosettes to empowerment postcards, badge-making to banners there is something to suit all ages + abilities. Book your crafts in advance or choose on the day with our different ticket types.
Meet your local WEP branches
We are hosting this event to highlight the progressive + vital work The Women’s Equality Party is doing both on a local and national scale. Now whilst many of us identify as feminists we may not describe ourselves as particularly political – having grown disengaged by the mainstream UK parties. Does this sound like you?
This is just one of the many reasons we are so glad to have met and partnered with our local branches of the Women’s Equality Party. We finally feel like we’ve found a voice for everything we’ve been feeling about practical feminism in society.
Come along, grab a cup of tea & say hi to a WEP rep. Find out what it’s all about in a relaxed setting with a buzzing community atmosphere.
Raffle
It wouldn’t be a fete without a raffle now would it?! All the proceeds will go to a specially selected charity / community project (TBA soon)
Feminist Selfie Station
Grab a suffragette sash, a feminist statement sign and one of your loved ones for a momento of your fun day out!
Tickets:
Entry only – £3 – Come along and suss out the crafts on the day
Please note: Children under 5 get free entry but there will be a fee if they want to take part in crafts
1 x craft & entry – £7
2 x crafts & entry – £10
ALL THE CRAFTS & entry – £18 / Pay as you feel

Whilst our monthly meet-ups are women*-only events our Spring Fete is open to everyone that wants to attend!
*By ‘women’ we refer to any person that identifies as a woman
