Fusing together interesting rhythm patterns picked out from the Neo-Jazz world, Sam Tomlins (he/him) is layering noodling Jazz rhythms with cathartic conversational lyrics, his unique style is brought to life with the release of his debut EP ‘Lotus’ – out now!

Drawing inspiration from London Jazz artists Oscar Jerome, Yussef Dayes, Tom Misch and Jamiroquai. His music is characterised by bouncy rhythms, smooth breakdowns and consistent evolution. Playing lead guitar, arranging the tracks and crooning both lead and backing vocals, Sam’s vibrant stylistic choices find harmony in the balance of complexity and simplicity. His upcoming singles are infused with his vibrant personality, a body of music that encourages the listener to build from within and accept their own complexities.
