Calling all adventure lovers! The award-winning Kendal Mountain Festival is back on the road with its UK tour.
Join us at The Old Market for a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating exploration of some of the wildest places on earth. For our Brighton tour date we have two incredible speakers lined up…
Hear from the hilarious and very talented British adventurer Anna McNuff, who will be sharing stories from her explorations across the globe. Named by The Guardian as one of the top female adventurers of our time and co-founder of Adventure Queens; the UK’s fastest growing women’s adventure community. Anna’s major journeys include cycling a beautiful pink bicycle through each and every state of the USA, running the length of New Zealand, and most recently exploring the peaks and passes of The Andes mountains – a journey in which she ascended the equivalent to eleven times the height of Everest on a bicycle.
Jenny Graham is an endurance cyclist from the Scottish Highlands who in 2018 shattered the women’s around-the-world cycling record crossing 18000 miles across the globe, self-supported in just 124 days! The 37 year old joins us to share tales from her epic journey including avoiding bears in the Yukon and dodging kangaroos in the Outback.
As well as hearing from these two speakers, we’ll also be showing a selection of our most loved adventure films from Kendal Mountain Festival 2018.
