January will be showcasing her latest release, Whelmed, at an intimate Brighton show. Performing at The Spire, she will be joined by local all-female cello quartet, The Celli Quartet, master percussionist Omer Makessa, her longtime musical partner Sam Alty on guitar, Chris Kennedy on the keyboard, and Sam Welbourne on synthesiser and electronics. There’ll also be guest performances by Phil Bruce and Amy Squirrel from the Brighton band Beggars Belief and Lone Madsen on clarinet.
