Our new Hike Against Homelessness will be (fingers crossed!) a sun and fun-filled 12ish mile hike across the Downs from Lewes to Saltdean then along the undercliff pass into Brighton for a pizza finale and to celebrate some great fundraising and memory making.   All funds raised will support young people experiencing homelessness in Brighton & Hove to access vital services and get their lives back on track.

Frances Duncan, CEO of CTS says,

“Post lockdown, we have seen young people grappling with more complex challenges and needing greater levels of long term support. The Hike Against Homelessness will help us meet our vision that young people’s experience of homelessness will be rare, brief and non-recurring.

We’re asking for a £20 registration fee and £150 fundraising pledge AND participants get a free HaH t-shirt. All the details anyone needs are on the website – please sign up using the links below and spread the word to your team, to friends and family. It could be the perfect team day out, you could bring the whole family – dogs too or come alone and meet a group of new walking partners and all for a great cause of course!

About the Clock Tower Sanctuary:

The Clock Tower Sanctuary (CTS) is the only day centre in Brighton providing practical and emotional support to 16-25-year olds experiencing homelessness in Brighton & Hove. Our day is open 5 days a week providing shower and laundry facilities, hot food and drinks as well as, 1-1 work, confidence-building activities, life skills, access to volunteering, training and employment for young people who are homeless and insecurely housed. We help our clients move from crisis to stability.
