Escape the darkness of a December late afternoon for a couple of hours of beautiful music in a lovely setting – mulled wine and mince pies included!

This year we are delighted to venture out of town to bring our Christmas programme to the lovely Downland village of Ditchling where we shall be singing in the beautiful and historic St Margaret’s Church.

Our music director has put together a programme of joyous choral music for an inspiring celebration of Christmas. Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols features. He wrote it to be sung with harp accompaniment – here Helen Arnold joins the choir.

We include other seasonal items by composers Rutter, Walton, Tchaikovsky,

Berlioz, Darke and more.

You will have the opportunity to help us raise the roof when we invite the audience to join in with some well-known carols.

Hamish Dustagheer will play the organ and the whole event is directed by

Nicholas Houghton.
